Wheat Baumkuchen is a Japanese Inspired, all green, all healthy, yet delicious food in a box. Simple and affordable food with different choices of either soba, rice or salad bases, Wheat is a go to takeaway stop in CBD.

Lava noodle ($9.80)
Bull run soba ($10)

The lava noodles consists of a saucy curry chicken topped onto a bed of noodles while the Bull run soba offers a sweet teriyaki saucy chicken on a bed of soba. The both choices are great, a healthy combination of low calorie meals with a punch of saucy flavour.

All in all, Wheat Baumkuchen is a great place to get a healthy and affordable meal at City hall and the food really impressed me with its amazing saucy tastes. Their boxes are also all 100% biodegradable sugar cane fiber boxes which is environmentally friendly! For a food spot in CBD, I would say the prices are pretty reasonable with choices staring from $9.80. And not to mention their creative names for each choice, "reindeer", "whale", "penguin" and many more. Don't worry they don't actually serve those animals' meat.

All in all, I would recommend you to try Wheat Baumkuchen!
