Tuk Tuk Cha is a food stand/cafe specialising in Thai teas and coffees. They also offer Shibuya toasts, waffles and ice creams for a satisfying treat.

*Fun fact: Tuk tuk is actually a rickshaw with a small engine, a very popular form of transportation in Thailand!

Thai milk tea and green tea milk tea ($2.80)

The Shibuya toasts are crispy on the outside yet soft and sticky on the inside. With the perfect combination of the warm hick toast and the cold ice cream and toppings, it is definitely a perfect treat in sunny Singapore!

I especially like the coconut flavour one because it is not too sweet and the coconut flavour is not too overpowering while still enhancing the flavour of the toast. The chocolate flavoured one has a bit of an artificial taste, sadly.

I tried the thai milk tea and the green tea milk tea which were both very nice. They allow you to select your sugar level preference, which I have chosen 25%. Although it might sound bland, but I feel that it is just the right amount of sugar to prevent you from feeling too bloated after drinking half your drink. Between the 2 drinks, I prefer the green tea milk tea.

All in all, tuk tuk cha is a cute food stand/ thai fast food cafe which offers affordable priced drinks and desserts. It is a great option for thai milk tea or any other drinks in general. Besides the normal thai milk tea or coffee, they also offer many different unique drinks and combinations that are definitely worth a try. The shibuya toasts are very delicious and I would definitely go back there for dessert another time. I definitely recommend trying the coconut shibuya toast and the green tea milk tea.

All in all, I would recommend you to try Tuk tuk cha!
