Insa-dong: Korean town!

At Insa-dong, you will find a mini korean town with a range of food choices and a cute korean ambience. From korean, to chinese, to western food, Insadong has different booths responsible for preparing your food!

The baked cheese rice is amazing, especially when hot! As you can see from the melty cheese to the hot cheezy ham rice, this dish puts the cheese in cheese baked rice!

The pork bellly kimchi soup comes with rice and some korean condiments. Spicy, sweet and sour, the soup tastes quite good with the right flavour but I feel that it is not truly authentic. I also tried the seafood kimchi soup which has almost the same taste.

The fried chicken with fries ( from the western stall) is not very good unfortunately. The chicken was slightly juicy but a little tough and the fries were not crispy.

All in all, Insa-dong is a cute korean town that has pretty average korean food. It has some hits and misses but generally it is like a pricy korean food court. The food is generally around $15 per dish which I feel is a bit overpriced for such basic korean food and a self-service system. However, the cheese baked rice and kimchi soup saved them and being in sentosa would explain the prices.

All in all, I would recommend you to try Insa-dong!
