Putting the puns aside, Syun features a variety of stunning and yet innovative dishes that bring out the freshness of its ingredients and allow you to enjoy a whole new experience in Japanese cuisine.
Set up by celebrity chef Hal Yamashita, the menu is rooted in Kobe cuisine and presented with a refreshingly modern twist. The menu features ohmi beef and fresh seasonal ingredients.

Check out their signature uni rolled in wagyu beef! Stunning and so delicious, giving you a burst of flavours in that mouthful of silky beef, wrapping that delicate flavourful uni, topped with caviar!

Some other dishes that deserve a shoutout are these ^^
The Snapper sashimi with a bale of truffle and the Foie gras and sake terrine, and botan ebi marinated in yuzu are both beautiful dishes that deliver refined flavour.

Let's not forget this beautiful baby. A delicious roasted ohmi beef, marinated in red miso, along a shiitake mushroom salad and a dried pepper sherbet. The tenderness of the beef along its juicy flavourful texture is explosive!
All in all, Syun features a zen ambience while giving you an experience in classic yet innovative japanese cuisine
I cannot miss out the most attractive item on the menu, the Shabu shabu set ★ which is honestly one of the best in Singapore. The classic shabu shabu with either pork or beef (your choice man), and a simple wakame seaweed broth. Plus, I feel that the Shabu Shabu set is the most worth it as you can try the Signature dishes in that set, along with a huge shabu shabu pot which you can share with your family.
Honestly, when I first went, I thought that Syun was just another over-priced Japanese restaurant. But, I realised that Syun actually did deliver their level of quality and innovation.
All in all, I would recommend you to try Syun!
